AMY SMITH
Amy and I first met on a blind date on Sunday, July 25th, 1999. Amy had graduated from Grace Christian and I had graduated from Lee Christian. I had seen her and known who she was but for some reason never met her before. The first time I met her, WOW!! She had a great smile and an even better personality.
After dating for a year and a half we were married on February 17, 2001. In that time Amy has taken on numerous roles. She has become a great mom to our 2 sons, a wonderful cook (her baking is off the hook), house accountant (she handles our bills) in addition to all the day to day errands, grocery buying, and taking care of her husband too!
Her work goes unnoticed by a lot of people (including me to often) but her love not only in words but in action in caring for her three boys speaks volume. She has been there with me on the best and the worst of days but always right there for me.
It’s pretty easy to see why I feel like I am the most blessed guy in the world to call her my wife, but even more my best friend.
